  My very first Low Cost short haul Airline from the UK was in November 2011 it was a pleasant experience, and unbelievably cheap. We did not take any baggage which helps keep cost down. Also we booked 2 months in advanced to get the best deal.
  
  I did fly back to the UK on Wizz Air from Bulgaria this year also, they are the Ryan air of the eastern europe.
  
  A few year ago I few with Oasis Hong Kong, this was a low cost long haul airline, a very good airline but went bust due to the price of fuel.
